Restoration and modern projects in authentic techniques

In our restoration atelier we restore and / or complete tiles and pottery from 1600 to Jugendstil. We have extensive experience in the restoration of material heritage in the Netherlands and abroad. We do not only make tiles, but we can also safely remove tiles for reuse or restore tiles on site.

We also make tableaux and tiles in a contemporary style in accordance with a design or in collaboration. Below you can see both the restoration projects and the modern design projects.

Restoration Tiles

Using the original recipe for clay, glaze and paint from the 16th century, combined with a large historical archive of sponges and designs, as well as carefully trained craftsmen in-house, we provide you with completely hand-crafted ceramic creations.

We are experts in damage-free removal, preservation and original replacement of ceramic building material.

A unique project requires unique hand-shaped tiles. We supply hand-formed Friesian whites with a beautifully nuanced play of colours. We do not only mould the tiles by hand but we also glaze by hand.

We manufacture the most diverse ceramic products from classical to design specially for you. We restore, conserve, complete or renew tiles, tableaux and building ceramics from all architectural styles. We work using the traditional tin glazing technique, which is also called majolica, faience or Delftware.
